Hello everyone, as you may have noticed Google over the last month is starting to delete old Gmail accounts, in fact you may have come across a lot of dead Google Drive links (which require access). Now I would like to know what alternative you recommend in case I need to replace it. I know it's a very good host, but it's been giving me a lot of trouble recently with creating accounts.
mediafire, workupload are reliable and free.
My only issue with mediafire is the download speed cap, for smaller files it’s not so bad, but when you have to download a bundle because an individual item isn’t available, it’s horrendous, can take multiple hours.

I have tried it several times, I’m afraid it is limited to 5 gb per day
if you are talking about mega you need a premium account for something betteer. and i dont know if this works for uploading but its said if you use chrome and turn on its private mode it tricks mega into thinking you are someone else
Qiwi seems like a good one.
I only use the google drive option if the mega1 or mega2 links fail.. and they never fail.
they do fail sometimes but for the old posts they are really reliable. i noticed problems with more recent items posted between 1 ~3 y ago (something like when 8.1 was released)

Workupload seems to be very reliable. Don’t recall a single time where a link was broken.
I agree, I always try the Workupload link first; it’s reliable, fast and long-lasting.
In my experience, Mega downloads tend to disappear over time when the file hasn’t been downloaded for a while. Never had this with Workupload.
Yes I always use Workupload links
Never had ONE Workupload file work here and tried quite a few.
Annnd it just worked. Maybe I’m thinking another host lol. Sorry:)
hitfile.net
1fichier.com
1fichier.com. For sure
New Zippyshare site? it’s good.
I would double down on gofile a good one normally for other websites. but here the gofile link never works. so pixeldrain and workupload. but another thing I always come across on here, especially for the older files is that the file images don’t bother showing and instead is like a blank page where the image should be. It should You should look in too. while you are redoing links.
Files uploaded to Gofile normally expire after 15 days if I’m not mistaken, if you don’t have a premium account, pixeldrain doesn’t seems too bad maybe I could choose it as an alternative but it’s like mega.nz which has a bandwidth limit of 5 gb daily
mediafire, haven’t had a single issue so far
None of the links work for me they just bring me to a page , the ouo. Press page.
Anyone know what I’m doing wrong
all the links exist, when you redirect to ouo.io press i’m a human, (it will open some pop-ups, close them), wait 3 seconds and press on “get the link“, (it will open other pop-ups, close them), you will be redirected to the link
I’ll try this thanks. I’ve been so frustrated lol
I’m really sorry about that, I use it a little bit to monetise, to keep the site active, even if in reality the income is very low, before there was adfly and it worked perfectly, but unfortunately then it closed down
Don’t be sorry you’re doing great, I just want to learn how to use the site is all.
You’re the best thanks
Thank you! Many complained about this change and left the site, it was a painful choice, but there was no other solution
Google is scanning ALL Uploads to google drive. They are violating everyone’s privacy. I had my main email disabled because Google is a bunch of Perverts ! screw google !!!
Consider torrents. I am a software developer. I could build a system around your website even.
I wrote all the stuff below and then had a ‘duh’ moment… Have you considered use scripts to keep your accounts alive? After a quick internet search, Google scripts seems to let you read and write data from your accounts. Create a script that runs off a list of your accounts, when you need a new account, add that one to the list, and set up the script in a monthly timer.
Also, I find an application that combines different Google accounts, that might help you keep them all alive as I assume it would keep dispersing information and reading them all. I found it here and it’s called Cbackup.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbackup.com/articles/cheapest-cloud-storage-per-tb.amp.html
See below for other ideas…. hope this helps.
Depending on your pricing model (how much you make off this versus the amount of labor you put into it) I think there are really only two basic options you can pursue. First, you can set up cloud storage (which starts at around $5 a month per TB) or you can build your own storage system and advertise it to the internet. Refreshed drives go for less then $100 a peice and current systems allow for mirroring of drives to ensure data security.
That being said, I always assumed that you were purposely dropping off older stuff. Yes, occasionally I do go back and find dead links, but that also helps drive us to constantly hit your site, as opposed to assuming it will just always be there. So it kind of works for you.
If you do opt for cloud storage, note there is an archive level that is cheaper but is slower. You can maintain your newer Google storage, which is awesome BTW, and drop older stuff on the slower, cheap storage.
pixeldrain and mediafire
I second this comment!
Pixeldrain IS the best and very fast. Although there is a download cap of 5gb for free users, it is hands down the best and cheapest and safest storage and downloader provider.
I highly recommend just paying for the enormous storage and security! I did, its only $4 for my prepaid plan. for infinity file storage time you can purchase via their Patreon. Its pretty neat!
You can also make this website a sort of private membership like that other GFX website that host daz stuff. That way we the users can help you afford private storage or something. I dunno.
But just check it out. Its pretty neat cause of privacy!

Mediafire seems quite good and less susceptible to quick takedowns than many.
Workupload seems to retain links for a very long time but don’t use it much.
Pixeldrain has a max 5Gb daily download and seems to struggle with larger files at least for me.
i’m not sure but you can use telegram maybe it’s easy for you
Mega, Torrent or create a new board on Freenet are probably the most reliable I would think other than self hosting (expensive).
I think it’s a good idea to add a torrent option to the web already, you can host the .torrent files yourself in your host as they are like 50kb on average which is not even 1/100 of one page load/refresh, and you still can put it behind ouo.io to make some money.
But the best thing about a torrent is that there is almost 0 chance to loose old files permanently, because as long as someone has it, you can always download it yourself again even if you suffer data loss on you local storage and all links are down.
Another benefit is that you will be protected against “bitrot” and other forms of file corruption, as once the torrent is created, a CRC of each block is created, and if one day suddenly doesn’t match, the torrent program will warn you that some files are missing, then you can click the option “re-check” so the torrent can scan the files and re-download the missing/corrupted parts.
mediafire,pixeldrain
First and foremost, thank you for all the things you are doing for us, I really appreciate that.
I will try to add my two cents… Talking about the topic we are discussing right now, I think that for using a direct download server I would go with Mediafire, I never had problems and I have been working with it for many years now.
Also, torrents would be a good choice too. I think that if you hide the links with services like ouo it would be OK too and safer.
But, there is another option in my opinion, there are some private sites that only to share torrents between the subscribers. You can create one and many of us (if not all) can subscribe and start sharing the files between us. There is no need to be a paid one, but needs to be a private server.
You can share the torrents to the subscribed people. The tracker doesn’t need to be public and it can be shared ONLY with subscribed people to the community doing it this way it would be safer to share the files, the torrents would be protected, and the shared files can last longer.
Also, you can put some ratio to downloads/uploads to incentivize to keep the torrent alive. I am a member of one of those kinds of torrent sites that share 3d stuff for a few years now (more than 10 yrs I think). I will not say the name of it because it may get me into trouble. I have uploaded more than a few terabytes of data since I am a member. I have to say that I am still seeding some old torrents (for a few years now) to keep them alive.
Lastly, I think I have to say this, My first language is not English so, I am sorry if all my rambling doesn’t make sense.
Qiwi is the shit.
I don’t know, it’s still in the testing phase, the storage seems unlimited and there doesn’t seem to be a file expiry date, let’s see what happens over time.
I will use Google Drive as long as I can…
Actually it’s not old accounts, it’s accounts that haven’t been logged into for 2 years. All you have to do is log in and then there’s no issue.
It must be me. I click on any of the provided links which opens up an ouo.io page, on which the only obvious link to click is ‘I am human’ which opens up yet another page that norton says ‘Malicious Website Blocked’ and I can go no further. Even if i disregard nortons advice and go to the ‘malicious’ page, the link takes me to an opera download page from which I can proceed no further.
One further point. I have tried to register with you using a gmail account. After providing the correct details I am told to check my email, but nothing arrives
Registration on the site is not open, it is not possible to register.
Hello, I have bought heels from Renderotica some days ago and I would like to share them on the site (I did not find them here), how to make this contribution ?
Workupload seems to be the one that works consistently. The Google links are requiring passwords when they don’t work for me.
Maybe don’t break the law??
Hello, just wanted you to know that there’s this weird text at the bottom of every page here saying [adinserter block=”2″].
Also, clicking the three bars near search icon used to show categories (very useful) but there’s only Home link there. Cheers.
