They didn’t announce G8 ahead of time, it just dropped in mid-June 2017 even though they released a new figure the month before (Ophelia 7 iirc). Still, I remember on the forums people were expecting a June/July reveal as it’s Daz habit at this point. So no, it isn’t confirmed and it won’t be (no one will buy new late-cycle G8 things if G9 is around the corner), but history has been repeating itself for a while now.
