What’s going on with this site? There’s stuff from 4 years ago on the front page. Can we filter by date so we don’t see stuff from years ago on the first pages pls.

I’d rather say, that leaving the date at origin point is helpful to identify what’s new or not. Reups or showing them is quite new behaviour for the site. Intentionally or not the old dates are method to deal with them usefully.
lol. i get “this shit for free” in lots of places. This place is better than most, but not all. I see a problem, I point it out.
I’m sorry to tell you this, but it’s not a problem, it’s intentional, I put an option that allows you to change the algorithm of post publications, now it no longer goes by the date of publication, but by the date the post was modified (I can also block the modification date for some posts if they are too recent, but for older posts it is useful), so if a post is old but is recently updated it will be shown as the latest, but keeping its original date, Obviously this option it can be revert back to the way it was before is not irreversible, but I did it to make it clear which posts have been reposted
Yeah, I get it. I just don’t like it. So it’s a problem for me. But it’s your site, do with it as you please. Just voicing my opinion to let you know.
I agree and I’m sorry, but when a post is updated it’s very likely that it is not noticed with the “order by date”, so by changing the algorithm it no longer follows according to the date of upload, but in the date of modification it is more clear which post is the old one and which is recent. I would like to add a way to filter by date or by modification date, but unfortunately I don’t have the computer knowledge.. 🙁
